Rudolf Braun (CDU)




Rudolf Braun (* 25 June 1955 in Falkenstein / Vogtl.) is a German politician (CDU) and former member of the German Bundestag. He is married and father of two children.

He was a member of the German Bundestag from 10 November 1994 to 26 October 1998 (an election period). He was elected by a direct mandate of the electoral district of 328 in Saxony. Edit LifeQualtext

After his Abitur 1977, Rudolf Braun completed a specialist training course on the Medical-Technical Radiology Assistant (later specialized in specializing in X-ray diagnostics).

From 1990 to 1991 he worked as a deputy for health and social affairs in the town administration Auerbach / Vogtl .; since 1991 he has been an honorary judge at the court of Zwickau.

Rudolf Braun has been a member of the CDU since 1976 and was a town councilor from Auerbach from 1990 to 1994. In 1994 he was directly elected to the Bundestag with 48.5% of the votes cast in the electoral district of Reichenbach - Plauen - Auerbach - Oelsnitz and was a member of the Bundestag until 1998.

In addition, he was a full member of the Committee on Internal Affairs and a deputy member of the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development.

Among other things, on 16 January 1998 Rudolf Braun agreed to the draft law of the political groups of the CDU / CSU, the SPD and the FDP for the amendment of Article 13 of the Basic Law (Great Lauschanriffriff).
