Rudolf (Rudi) Agte played as a defender already before the First World War for the SC Germania from 1887 and changed to Hamburger FC 1888 in 1914, so he was active for these two predecessors of today's Hamburg sports club. In the early 1920s, Agte was captain and time-honored player from his team. In 1923 he won the German championship with Hamburger SV, but he was only occasionally used. To the second German title, Agte led the Hamburg 1928 in a multi-function as coach, Teamchef and league committee chairman. Weblinks Edit sourcetext Edit source text
