Church district Kirchhain
The Kirchenkreis Kirchhain is a church district of the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck in the Sprengel Marburg and Waldeck. In the 35 municipalities of the church circle, some 42,000 Protestant Christians live. Head of the church circle is Dean Hermann Köhler. The seat of the church circle is currently Cölbe. The church district covers the political communities of Amöneburg, Cölbe, Kirchhain, Lahntal, Marburg (only the suburbs of Bauerbach and Ginseldorf), Münchhausen, Neustadt (without Mengsberg), Rauschenberg, Stadtallendorf, Wetter and Wohratal. On 1 January 2012 he was newly formed from the church church Kirchhain and the northern municipalities of the church circle Marburg-Land and now consists of the following church communities: Edit the source text
In the west, it borders the Biedenkopf (Hesse-Nassau) decree, the Marburg church, the Eder church district, the Ziegenhain church circle (all three Kurhessen-Waldeck) and the Homberg decree (EKHN ).
