Ꝗꝗ

The Ꝗ (small-inscribed ꝗ) is a letter of the Latin writer. It consists of a Q, through whose stem a stroke was drawn.

In medieval texts, Ꝗ is often found and has been used to abbreviate frequent Latin words such as qui. The Ꝗ was also used in some early forms of the Abkhazian alphabet and represented the voiced postalveolar affricates / d͡ʒ /. In the present Abkhazian alphabet, this sound is represented by the digraph џь. Display on the computer
