Nina Li Chi

Nina Li Chi (Chinese 利 智, Pinyin Lì Zhì; * December 31, 1961 in Shanghai, People's Republic of China) is a Chinese actress.

Her father was a well-known beautician in Shanghai. In 1981, she moved to Hong Kong and worked in a furniture store before going to the US to study. She graduated in economics. In 1986, she was elected Miss Asia in Hong Kong and began acting as a performer. Within two years she became one of the best paid actresses in Hong Kong. During her short career she has starred with stars like Jackie Chan, Chow Yun-Fat, Samuel Hui and Sammo Hung Kam-Bo. In 1992, she retired from acting. In 1999, she married the actor Jet Li.
