The small towerless Romanesque church of Tved is located on the bay of Knebel, Knebel Vig, in the moraine landscape of the Mols Bjerge on the Mols peninsula, which in turn is part of the peninsula Djursland which forms the eastern part of Jutland in Denmark. The church belongs to the church game Tved.
In the apse and in the chancel, there are lime paintings depicting the adoration of the kings and the enthroned Christ. On the north wall is a medieval crucifix. The church has a Romanesque baptismal font and several paintings from the Renaissance. The gothic church with the typical gables is surrounded by a cemetery. Edit the source code
The legend says that it should actually be between Tved and Dejret. Ultimately, they decided to find a new place for the church, as a troll tore the shell every night. Two cattle were allowed to decide the location. They were tied together, and where they grazed the next morning, the country church was built. 56.19961111111110.444083333333Coordinates: 56 ° 11 '58.6 "N, 10 ° 26' 38.7" O Weblinks Edit sourcetext
