Cardiff and Ogmore Railway
The Cardiff and Ogmore Railway was a British rail company in South Wales.
On July 21, 1873, the company was granted permission to build a 13-kilometer railway line from Llanharan to the Ogmore Valley Railways at Lewistown. The route, which was exclusively used for freight transport, was commissioned on October 2, 1876. Already in June 1875 the management had agreed with the Great Western Railway.
The company was taken over by the Llynvi and Ogmore Railway on 1 July 1876 before the start of the route. Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext Single-level Edit source text
