Wolf Berlin

Wolf Berlin was mayor of Heilbronn from 1552 to 1564. Edit LifeQualtext

Berlin has been a member of the external council and judges since 1547. From 1552 to 1564 he was mayor in Heilbronn. Together with Ambrosius Becht, Wolf Berlin Heilbronn represented the Reichstag in Augsburg in 1552. From 1559 he was also Vogt of Flein.

Two of his daughters married Heilbronn's future mayor's families: Klara Anna Berlin married Wilhelm Aff, son of Balthasar Aff (mayor from 1574 to 1575). Agnes Berlin married Conrad Spölin (mayor from 1626 to 1636).

The Berlins are from an old patriotic generation of Heilbronn. The coat of arms of the family shows three interlocked Beren, two buffalo horns serve as helmets. Edit source text
