Pius Fink (born March 3, 1832 in Sulzberg, Vorarlberg, Austria) was an Austrian engineer
From 1859 Pius Fink served at the locomotive factory of the StEG. There he drew up a supporting diesel locomotive, in which the axles of the tender were also driven via a blind shaft. Three of these locomotives, the Steyerdorf, the Krahsova and the Gerliste were used from 1863 by the Austrian-Hungarian State Railroad company. However, the design was not a permanent success.
In addition, Fink developed a regulation for water turbines, the finch scheme. Edit source text Standard data (person): GND: 135989272 (PICA, AKS) | LCCN: n87821589 VIAF: 80410457 Wikipedia People Search
