Helga Ellul

Ellul began his career as an employee in the sales and export department of the mid-Franconian toy manufacturer Geobra Brandstätter. In 1974 she was commissioned by her boss as an accountant to Malta, where Brandstätter has been operating since 1971 a production facility. After she had met her later husband, a real estate broker, she stayed on the island. She became Director-General of the factory in 1976 and Managing Director of Playmobil Malta Ltd. The company grew from 50 to about 1000 employees. Each year around 100 million playmobile figures are produced in Malta. In addition, she built a Playmobil FunPark, which was opened in autumn 2003. In the autumn of 2012, it withdrew from the operating business.
