Carl-Adam Nycop (born 24 July 1909 in Helsinki, † July 4, 2006 in Kristianstad) was a Finnish-Swedish journalist, chief editor and author. Edit LifeQualtext
Nycop was initially a correspondent for the Idrottsbladet newspaper in his hometown Helsinki. In 1938 he became the first editor in chief of Se, a Swedish version of the US magazine Life.
The publisher Albert Bonnier Jr hired Nycop in 1944 to build the daytime expressions. Bonniers and Nycops's efforts were to start expressions as a social-democratic counterweight to the nazifreundlichen Tageszeitung Aftonbladet.
Carl-Adam Nycop left 1962 expressen. Afterwards, he worked for various publishing houses, including publishing house, within Bonnier's publishing house. In 1974, he became a media consultant for the Swedish Social Democratic Party.
