War Memorial Großwangen

The Kriegerdenkmal Großwangen is a monument-protected war memorial monument in the village of Großwangen in the district of Wangen of the city Nebra in Saxony-Anhalt. The memorial site is listed as a monument in the local monument list under the registration number 094 83998.

Two steles are surrounded by a semicircular dry wall on the slope. The smaller one was built for the dead of the Franco-German war. It is crowned by an Iron Cross. The inscription is in part no longer readable.

To the larger stele built to commemorate the fallen of the First and Second World Wars, memorial plaques with an inscription and the names of the fallen were attached to the stele.
