Jepifani Slawinezki
Jepifani Slawinezki (Russian Епифаний Славинецкий, * early 17th century, † 1675, Moscow, Czarism Russia) was a Russian clergyman and scholar.
The origin and the place of birth of Slavinezki is unknown. The first communications on the life of Jepifani can be found in archives of the Kyiv Academy and the Tschudov monastery in Moscow. Slawinezki worked for a short time as an educator in Kiev, until he was taken to Moscow by the Russian Tsar Alexei I in 1649. Among other things, he was involved in various edition and translation projects of the Church-Slavic Bible.
