Gregory (cycling)
In cycling the term gregarious applies to runners who help to get the victory to a leader of ranks. The work of the gregarious can be of all types: from providing food and drink to its leader, to standing in front of him to reduce the friction of the important man of the team with the wind.
Luxury gregarious is spoken of when a high-quality broker acts as gregarious of another. Winners of the Tour de France as Greg LeMond or Laurent Fignon were gregarious Bernard Hinault during the 1980s. Miguel Indurain and Pedro Delgado acted as reciprocally gregarious to each other in the late 1980s and early 1990s. of the years 2000, Yaroslav Popovych, Paolo Savoldelli or Roberto Heras were gregarious of Lance Armstrong. Another example is Chris Froome, who was gregarious of Bradley Wiggins in the Tour de France 2012; just a year before he was the winner of the 100th Tour de France.
There is also another kind of gregarious called pitcher who is the one who helps the Sprinter to get his victories. Some of them are also gregarious luxury since in that type of massive arrivals they can get to do between the first of the stage and even their leader give him the victory.
