Karmėlava district (Karmėlavos seniūnija district) is an administrative district in the north-east of Kaunas municipality in Lithuania, with 6614 inhabitants (as of 2011). The administration is located in the town of Karmėlava. There are 13 villages in the Amtsbezirk. The largest village (with 1583 inhabitants) is Ramučiai. The Amtsbezirk is divided into 19 sub-districts. In 2001, there were 5557 inhabitants. There is the forestery Karmėlavos girininkija.
