La Castellana is a luxurious urbanization located in the Chacao Municipality east of Caracas and an important financial, commercial, tourist and cultural center within the city.
characteristicsIn La Castellana you will find many hotels, including the "Hotel Renaissance La Castellana", Hotel Cayena, "The Vip Lounge Caracas" and soon "ME" by Melia. This capital city is also known for hosting some of the most expensive restaurants in the city and one of the most exclusive shopping centers; the San Ignacio Center, a mixed architectural, office and commercial complex where the most luxurious nightlife venues of the Venezuelan capital are located.
It preserves a similarity in its concept and pretensions with the Paseo de la Castellana de Madrid.
It limits to the north with the National Park the Avila, to the south with the Chacao Town (Chacao Town), to the east with the urbanization Altamira and to the west with the urbanizations Campo Alegre and the Caracas Country Club.
Two large-scale projects are currently under construction on Francisco de Miranda Avenue; the Paseo La Castellana and El Recreo de La Castellana, both complexes will have office towers, hotel, residential and commercial centers.
This urbanization houses the embassies in Venezuela of Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal, Ecuador, Brazil, Switzerland, Honduras and Japan. Bibliography
