National Orchestra and Choir of Spain

The National Orchestra and Choir of Spain (OCNE) is a state body belonging to the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM), Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. Based in the National Auditorium of Music of Madrid, it promotes the classical music through its two sets of symphonic-choral music under its tutelage, the National Orchestra of Spain (ONE) and, since 1971, the National Choir of Spain ( CNE).

Since 2003, his artistic direction has been headed by Josep Pons and his technical director, since 2012, is Felix Alcaraz, Queen Sofía is the honorary president of OCNE.
