Coffee liquor

Coffee liqueur is a liqueur based on coffee, sugar and brandy or marc, which can be consumed alone or as an ingredient in desserts or cocktails. It appeared in Jamaica in the seventeenth century. It is very popular in Galicia, being considered traditional liquor, which is commonly called simply: coffee liquor. The inhabitants of the city of Ourense boast of their authorship, being the most popular graduated drink of the area.
