The wine cuncas (simply referred to as wine cups) are pottery-shaped bowls that are used in Galician taverns. Galician wine usually accompanied by seafood, or culinary products elaborated. They are very common in the taverns of Vigo. This vessel is usually a symbolic part of the wine culture in Galicia, and is very much associated with serving the Ribeiro. The container is of low height reaches about eight cm. Its small, flat hemispherical base provides support.
