Barnacle Bill is an American animated short from the 1930s, from the Talkartoons series. In it appears one of the first designs of the character Betty Boop. It was produced by Fleischer Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The date of its premiere was the 31 of August of 1930. Argument

Barnacle Bill is a newcomer to port. After disembarking and consulting his schedule, he goes to Nancy Lee's address. Once there, between them there is a sung dialogue, which is a version of the famous song "Barnacle Bill". While the two are inside the house, the neighbors whisper about what they will be doing. In the end, the captain of the boat discovers Barnacle Bill, initiating a persecution that finishes this one under the sea, although in an unexpectedly advantageous situation.
