Aarne Salovaara

Aarne Ihamo Salovaara, birth name Arne Nylenius, born 25 February 1887 in Kotka, died September 11, 1945, was a Finnish athletic and gymnast

He was fourth in the javelin at the 1908 Olympics in London. In the spearwurf (free style) he did not come under the first nine, in the discus throw under the first eleven.

In the gymnastics of the games in London he won the bronze medal in the team competition with the Finnish team. 1912 in Stockholm, the team silver medal was followed by free gymnastics. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
