The Taiwan Power Company Football Club (Traditional Chinese: 台灣 電力 公司 足球隊), known as Taipower (Traditional Chinese: 台電), is a Taiwanese semi-professional football club based in Kaohsiung. The club was founded in 1979 and is affiliated with the Taiwan Power Company, the country's electric power company. Nicknamed Nan-ba-tien (traditional Chinese: 南 霸天, which means South Supreme Leader), Taipower is the most successful soccer club in Taiwan, having won 14 league titles in particular in 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004. With the departure of Flying Camel and Taipei City Bank FC in the late 1990s, Taipower and Tatung FC have been the only two football clubs in the rest of the competition of the highest level tournament of Taiwan, Enterprise Football League.
