Franz Grundwalt
Franz Grundwalt (born 18 October 1940 in Vienna) is a former Austrian politician (ÖVP). From 2001 to 2005 he was head of the district in the first Viennese district of Innere Stadt.
Grundwalt worked professionally as a gastronian and held the post of district deputy chairman between 19 November 1997 and 18 April 2001. After Richard Schmitz withdrew from politics and his office as district administrator in 2001, Grundwalt took over the position of district headmaster on 19 April 2001. In September 2005, Grundwalt lost a vote for the top candidate of the ÖVP in the inner city against the German Democratic Republic. The elections were held in September 2005, after the election of the municipal district elections in 2001, the construction of an underground car park under the Neuer Markt then EU member Ursula Stenzel, although he was still confirmed in March 2005 by the district division director in his leadership position. Grundwalt was subsequently replaced by Stenzel as district administrator after the election victory of the ÖVP on 22 December 2005. Single-level Edit source text
