Ildefonso de los Reyes

Ildefonso de los Reyes is a gypsy flamenco-fusion singer from the Navajita Plateá Jerez group.

He was born in the gipsy district of Santiago de Jerez de la Frontera in 1969. He is currently married to María Bermúdez, an important dancer and American singer.

Ildefonso is the voice of the group and composer; is brother of the cantaora Chiqui de Jerez. He is known as El Pelé, nickname that his grandfather gave him because when in the 1970 World Cup he scored goals for the Brazilian player Pele, the boy cried for the noise he heard.
