Felipe Alfredo Fuentes Barrera (Mexico City) is a Mexican lawyer who serves as magistrate of the Superior Court of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation (TEPJF) since November 2016.

Felipe Alfredo Fuentes Barrera joined the Judiciary of the Federation in April 1991 as Secretary of the Third Collegiate Court in Criminal Matters and the Second Collegiate Court in Civil Matters, all of the Seventh Circuit. Secretary of the First Collegiate Court in Civil Matter of the Third Circuit; Secretary of the Second Collegiate Court in Civil Matters of the First Circuit; Secretary of Study and Account in the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (1997).
He was appointed as District Judge in November 1997, through an internal competition of opposition. First Judge of District in the State of Tabasco; Judge Tenth and Twelfth District, both in Civil Matters in the Federal District. Circuit Magistrate appointed on September 18, 2000, being the winner in the Fifth Internal Competition for the Appointment of Circuit Magistrates and ratified on August 23, 2006.
It was proposed by the President of the Republic Lic. Enrique Peña Nieto, for Minister of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, together with the then Ambassador of Mexico in the United States of America, Eduardo Tomás Medina-Mora Icaza. p>

At the proposal of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), the Senate of the Republic was elected Electoral Magistrate of the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation, for a period of 8 years, beginning his term on 4 of November 2016.
