César Pedroso

César „Pupy“ Pedroso (* 24. September 1946 in Vedado/Havanna) ist ein kubanischer Pianist.

Pedroso was first known with the Orquesta Revé. Since 1969 he played as a pianist and then as a founding member in the group Los Van Van. He also composed important pieces such as "Call Calla", "Tranquilo, Mota", "Seis Semanas" or "El buenagente", but he also composed for other Cuban musicians. In 1995, he released the first solo CD "Lo mejor / Fruta prohibida" under his name, the second appeared in 1999 under Pupy y Los Que Son Son. After his departure at Los Van Van, Band Pupy y Los que Son, with whom he has now released four albums.
