Laodike († after 177 BC) was a daughter of Mithridates II of Pontos and Laodike, the daughter of Antioch II. She married 222 v. Her cousin, the Seleucid king Antioch III. in Seleukeia at the Zeugma, where she had been brought by the Nauarch Diognetus. After the grand wedding, she traveled with her husband to Antioch on the Orontes, where he was appointed queen by him before he entered the war against the usurper Molon. She was the mother of three sons (Antiochus, who died as the eldest son already in 193 BC, Seleucus IV, Antiochus IV), and four or five daughters (among others Cleopatra I and Antioch). In the Seleucid cult, Laodike, under the title "sister queen" By her husband; thus their worship was connected by epony "archpriestesses" in all satrapies.
