Green has been playing the violin since the age of four; she also took singing and dancing lessons. The actress made her debut in a series of City Guys TV series from 2001. In the comedy School of Rock, she starred Jack Black and Joan Cusack. In the film Come Away Home she took over one of the main roles, for which she was nominated for the Young Artist Award in 2006. In the short film The Double, she starred alongside Eric Roberts and Shannyn Sossamon. After that, she appeared in some television series, including a series of the TV series Girlfriends from the year 2007.
