Iken (Suffolk)
Iken is a small village in the marshal of the English county Suffolk.
It is located near the mouth of the river Alde in the North Sea southeast of Snape and north of Sudbourne and Orford.
"The Anchorage" is probably where the Abbey of St. Botolph was located, from 654 to 870 in a place called "Ikenhoe" (presumably Iken). Single-level Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext Commons: Iken - Collection of pictures, videos and audio files
