The ALQ-187 was designed to protect the F-16 Fighting Falcon from radar-attacked missiles and anti-aircraft guns of all kinds. It is internally housed in the aircraft fuselage and consists exclusively of digital components. The system can optionally be equipped with a module for low-frequency interfering techniques.
