The bridge of the murderers is a novel belonging to the collection The Adventures of Captain Alatriste, written by Arturo Pérez-Reverte. Released in 2011, it is the seventh installment of the series. Argument

After serving in galleys in the previous installment, Diego Alatriste is hired by the mediation of his friend Francisco de Quevedo for a mission in Venice. The objective will be the assassination of the current dogo (dux) so that the republic can be controlled by the Spanish crown. It will have the help of, among others, Iñigo Balboa, Sebastián Copons, the Moor Gurriato and his old enemy Gualterio Malatesta, although the intentions of the latter are not completely clear.
