The Piggot
Les Piggot (actually Leslie McDonald Piggot, 11 May 1942 in Glasgow) is a former British sprinter.
At the British Commonwealth Games 1970 in Edinburgh he was eighth over 100 m and fourth with the Scottish team in the 4 x 100 meter relay. In 1971, he finished fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki with the British 4-by-100-meter relay.
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he finished more than 100 m in the quarter-finals and in the 4-times-100-meter relay in the semifinals.
In 1974, he became a 100-meter-long British comedian in Christchurch seventh and the Scottish 4-by-100-meter relay in fifth place.
