January 2010, Rosarno, Calabria. The media retransmit the demonstrations of emigrants, revealing the deplorable and unjust conditions suffered daily by thousands of African workers, crushed by an economy controlled by the Calabrian Mafia. For a moment the emigrants are attracting the attention of the Italians, who respond to their demands with fear and violence. The emigrants are "evacuated" from Rosarno in a matter of hours, "solving" the problem. But the faces and stories of the participants tell something very different.
