Rudolf Friedrich of Lattorff
Rudolf Friedrich von Lattorff (* 1669 in Hohbeck, district of Jerichow, † 11 October 1708) was a royal-Prussian Generalmajor. Edit LifeQualtext
He was a member of the anathetic nobility Lattorff. His parents were the Kurbrandenburg captain and heir to Hohbeck Rudolf von Lattorff († 1684) and Erdmuth von Wulffen a.d. Loburg (* 1618). Lattorff advanced to the Major on 31 August 1689, on 1 January 1693 to the rank of lieutenant-colonel, then on 1 July 1703 to the colonel, and on 1 July 1704 became chief of the regiment of the Regiment, Wulffen. He participated in the Spanish succession, but he lost his injuries sustained in the battle of Oudenaarde. Posthum Lattorff was promoted to the rank of Generalmajor on 25 October 1708.
He was married to Margarethe Sophie de Bruce (d. 1739). This was the daughter of the French lieutenant-general Jean de Bruce and his wife Sophie Luise von Ritter.
