Murray is a fictional character who appears in the sly video game saga. He is one of three members of Cooper's band, formed by Sly Cooper (the protagonist) and Bentley (the brain of the band). Murray is a pink hippopotamus, and it's Cooper's band muscles.

History

In the first video game of the series, Murray, like Bentley, does not participate. When he was in the orphanage, he became intimate friend of Sly Cooper, and then of Bentley (In the third part Murray talking with him, after having met in Venice, he says that he is his second best friend). But it's in the second installment of Sly Cooper when he starts participating. At the end of this video game, Bentley becomes invalid and, Murray thinks it was his fault, so he decides to leave the band and become a disciple of a guru to dedicate himself to meditate; but in the third installment of the series, after the insistence of his friends to return and help his guru to purify the black water of Venice and rescue his home in Australia, he decides to return to the band. Murray as mentioned, is the brute force of the team, using their fists, which can end up from small to great guards, and enemies; can throw them in the air to hit other objects or against walls, and even throw them at other enemies. It is strong enough to lift heavy and light objects, and with its huge belly (when you jump and press the correct button), you can destroy whatever it is. Also with its ball form can take care of several guards.
