Anniversary One (Cúcuta)
Anniversary One is an urbanization of the Colombian city of Cúcuta. It was built by the Territorial Credit Institute, being manager Rafael Lemus, in 1987. It was called Aniversario because its houses were delivered in the first year of the government of President Belisario Betancur, and were made up of 630 homes. These houses were humble, being of the program of government "houses without initial quota". With time almost all changed the facade and today is a beautiful urbanization. Maria Eugenia Rojas de Moreno was in charge of delivering the housing in the park that was initially called "Gustavo Rojas Pinilla" in honor of the former president of Colombia.
The streets were paved, illuminated. The first president of the Communal Action Board, was the well-known man of the radio Andrés Ramírez. The residents of Aniversario I belong to the parish Nuestra Señora de Torcoroma, located at the front of the urbanization. But it was small enough to house so many people, because there they go to mass, neighbors of La Libertad, Torcoroma, San José and Anniversaries I and II.
