The Bells
The Bells is Lou Reed's ninth album, released by Arista Records in 1979.
Once again Reed used the binaural recording system, which uses two microphones, arranged with the intention of creating a 3D sound sensation.
The LP includes nine songs, one of them "Disco Mystic", an incursion of the singer-songwriter in the field disco and funk accessible. In 1979 the journalist Lester Bangs, of Rolling Stone, qualified it like the best album of Reed until that moment. Songs list
