Gustav Braunmüller, son of the German actor Gustav Braunmüller and the Austrian local singer Louise Fränzl, became acquainted with writing poems in the vernacular. These poems appeared in six collections under the title Nehmt's mi. He also wrote the drama A Wild Piece.
