Annex: ATC Code M04

The ATC code or Anatomical Classification System, Therapeutic, Chemical (ATC) is an index of pharmacological substances and drugs, organized according to therapeutic groups. This system was instituted by the World Health Organization, and has been adopted in Europe. The code lists the system or organ on which it acts, the pharmacological effect, the therapeutic indications and the chemical structure of the drug.
