Juan de Cardona died 36 years later, in 1502, a few days after having sold to the Duchess of Gandía the places of Real de Gandía, Beniopa, Benicanena and Benipeixcar, located in the garden of Gandía. Some years before, he had written his last will, on December 13, 1479.
