Josef Vogl (born 22 June 1848 in Emmering, Germany, June 22, 1886 in Baiernrain) is considered one of the fathers of the Bavarian movement. Edit LifeQualtext
Vogl was born in Emmering in 1848 as the fourth child of Teacher Anton Vogl and his wife Walburga (born Schwägerl). From 1870 to 29 January 1876 Vogl worked as a teacher in Grafing and then came to Bayrischzell. Around 1883 he established himself for the preservation of the old costumes and the local customs, and on August 25, 1883, together with other young boys, founded the "Association for the Preservation of the People's Territory in the Leitzach Valley", and thus the first Mountain Bred Conservation Society in Bavaria. p>
