House of Customs

The House of Customs. Located in the city of Santa Marta, La Casa de la Aduana, (also known as: Gold Museum, Simón Bolívar House, Tayrona Museum) is a regional museum of the Gold Museum, which is part of the Bank of the Republic of Colombia. This museum gives visitors a glimpse of the goldsmithing and culture of the ancient inhabitants of the Sierra Nevada.

The house of the Customs is the first building that was built in the American continent, in 1531, has survived standing after fires and earthquakes.
