Flag of Mordovia.

The Mordovia flag is one of the official symbols of the Republic of Mordovia, a subdivision of the Russian Federation. It was approved by the Parliament of the Republic of March 30, 1995.

Its design consists of a rectangle of 1: 3 proportions divided into three horizontal bands in red, white and blue, in the ratio of 1/4, 1/2 and 1/4, respectively. In the center of the flag appears a symbol similar to the one that appears in the flag of Udmurtia. Symbolism

Flag colors also follow the pattern of the flag in most Eastern European countries and the Russian flag, as well as many of its subdivisions, use the colors that are red, white and blue.
