Eduardo Pinho Moreira (Laguna, July 11, 1949) is a Brazilian physician and politician who was governor of Santa Catarina between April 9, 2006 and January 1, 2007.
He was a constituent federal deputy between 1987 and 1991 and was re-elected that year. In 1992 was chosen mayor of Criciúma, having to resign to its position of federal deputy to assume the position. He governed the municipality from 1993 to 1996. He also served in the state government as secretary of state of the Civil Registry and presided over the Santa Catarina Power Plants.
On January 1, 2003, Luiz Henrique da Silveira took office as governor of Santa Catarina, having Moreira as lieutenant governor. On April 9, 2006, Luiz Henrique resigned his position to dedicate himself exclusively to his re-election campaign, which made it possible for Moreira to assume the position of governor of the state.
His term as governor ended on January 1, 2007, when he transferred his position to Luiz Henrique da Silveira, who had been re-elected on the last election day. The deputy governor chosen for the second term of Luiz Henrique was former senator Leonel Pavan of the PSDB.
