The dwelling-house was built in the 15th century and was owned by the Stefan de Wilczyno from Chelm. After the fire in 1575 it was rebuilt by Piotr Mularz and provided with sgraffito. In 1670 the building was underpinned. At this time, the attic was also redesigned. During archaeological investigations in the 1920s, a variety of Gothic and Renaissance remains were discovered on the window frame as well as two portals in the backyard. In the first half of the 17th century the house was owned by the Cichorzewski family. Probably at this time a Renaissancedach was created. After that, it became the property of the Lemek family. A new renovation and expansion took place at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1938 the façade was repaired and a sgraffito frieze by Szczęsny Felicjan Kowarski was added. In the same year a portal with glyphs from the 17th century was also released. After the destruction of the building in the Second World War, it was rebuilt in 1954. The reconstruction involved the transformation of the third floor into another storey. The design of the roof was carried out according to free interpretations on the basis of historical forms. Likewise the Sgraffito of Maria and Lech Grześkiewicz with representations of the merchant life and figures.
