Atos IT-Dienstleistung und Beratung GmbH (formerly Siemens IT-Dienstleistung und Beratung GmbH) was formed in May 2008 from the merger of Services for Business IT Ruhr GmbH (SBI Ruhr) and its subsidiary saardata GmbH. Siemens Business Services acquired the business in 2004 from Ruhrkohle AG. Since the incorporation of Siemens IT Solutions and Services GmbH into the Atos Group, Siemens has been replaced by Atos.

The main business includes IT outsourcing and IT solutions for corporations and the upper middle class in the real estate, energy, basic materials, discrete manufacturing and chemicals sectors. A particular focus is on specific IT solutions for the real estate industry, the cable industry, municipalities and ecclesiastical institutions.

Atos IT-Service und Beratung GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of the former Siemens IT Solutions and Services GmbH, today's Atos IT Solutions and Services GmbH. In the 2008 financial year, the SBI Ruhr and saardata group generated sales of 111.0 million euros with 709 employees.
