Anime-Comic
An anime comic is a comic in which single images are used that are taken exclusively from an anime. Afterwards, speech bubbles and noises are inserted into the pictures by means of so-called onomatopoeia so that the story is reproduced as a comic. As a rule, the text depends on the synchronization of the anime, but there may be deviations. Unlike most manga, anime comics are colored.
The comic form was created around 1980 in Japan as a continuation of the exploitation chain from manga series to anime filming - back to the comic form in a cost-effective way with significantly greater profit than the original. The original Japanese term animekomikkusu (ア ニ メ コ ミ ッ ク ス) was coined by the publisher Kōdansha.
In some western countries, anime comics produced by publishing houses were the first publication of manga. These gave a first taste of Japanese comics. In Germany, the anime films for the series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, One Piece, Detective Conan and Naruto appeared as an anime comic. Single-level Edit source text
