Remigio Renzi
Remigio Renzi (born October 1, 1857 in Rome, Italy, 19 November 1938) was an Italian organist, composer and music pedagogue.
Renzi was a student of Gaetano Capocci. He taught at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. Pietro Yon, Elsa Respighi and Carlo Giorgio Garofalo among his pupils. From 1883 until his death in 1938, he worked as an organist at St. Peter's. He has appeared as a composer of organ works such as Andantino Cantabile, Pastoralale la la notte di Natale - Veglia dei Pastori and Fulgens stella maris. His Toccata E major, which was recently recorded by Domenico Severin on CD, is well-known.
