Osan-ri is a Neolithic archaeological site that stretches 2 km along a beach in the Sea of Japan near Yangyang in eastern South Korea. Data from 6000 to 3000 a. C., that is to say of the period of the pottery Chulmun and has been designated historical site nÂș 394. Description
The village life was based on sea fishing. Although no remains of ships have been found, large hooks have been found which suggest the possibility of their inhabitants practicing deep sea fishing. An obsidian artifact from Paektu was discovered.
