Þorleifs þáttr jarlaskálds is an Icelandic short story (þáttr) about Þorleifr Rauðfeldarson and his brother Yngvildr. The story is related to the saga of Svarfdæla and is a late story from the late thirteenth or early fourteenth century. The plot contains many fantastic features, such as the moment when the chanter recites a demeaning poem to the jarl Håkon Sigurdsson, after which terrible wonders take place in the jarl's drawing room.

It is preserved in the Flateyjarbók manuscript. Bibliography
